Over the last nine years, Cows ‘n Cabs has donated more than $2.3 MILLION to local charities.


 

Established in 2012 by John Rivers, Founder/CEO of 4R Restaurant Group, and Dave Larue, Vice President of ABC Fine Wine & Spirits, Cows ‘n Cabs celebrates Central Florida’s thriving culinary scene by assembling the region’s most talented chefs in the name of charity and pairing their signature creations with expertly curated beverages.

The open-air, country-western themed event occurs every autumn in Winter Park’s West Meadow and also features live music, dancing and a silent auction. Each year, numerous James Beard Award-nominated chefs, along with 25-plus popular local restaurants, join co-hosts John Rivers and Dave Larue in making Cows ‘n Cabs one of Central Florida’s most anticipated culinary events.

Cows ‘n Cabs is a non-profit organization with 100 percent of its proceeds benefitting charities supporting children in Central Florida including After School All Stars and 4 Roots. Cows ‘n Cabs has raised more than $2.3 million for charities supporting children in need.

+ Where is Cows ‘n Cabs held?

The event is held in Winter Parks West Meadow, 150 N New York Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789. Ticket holders will have access to the entire park that is fenced off.

+ Where should I park?

There is complementary valet in the parking lot of the post office, however we suggest taking an Uber/Lyft.

+ Is the event 21 and older?

Yes, the event is 21+ and it is not family-friendly

+ What if it rains?

The event is held rain or shine.

+ Can I bring my dog?

For safety reasons and food reasons we ask that you leave your pets at home.

+ Is Smoking permitted at Cows ‘n Cabs?

Smoking is permitted outside the big tent. There is a the Drew Estates cigar area to grab a cigar and enjoy.

+ Are tables/chairs provided?

Cows ‘n Cabs has a VIP section that provides seating. Cocktail tables and limited seating is available. Participants are encouraged to sample a variety of food and beverages.

+ Are there gluten free, vegan or vegetarian food?

Restaurants get to choose the dishes they serve at Cows ‘n Cabs. There are no requirements for gluten-free options, vegan or other dietary needs. Menus often change due to the availability of fresh ingredients

Cows ‘n Cabs is open to all. Accessible portable toilets are available next to the restroom trailers. The event is in a park on grass with no floor.

+ How do I get a refund?

Tickets are non-refundable. Cows ‘n Cabs raises money for charities supporting children in need in Central Florida.

+ What do I do if I lose my tickets?

Tickets are emailed to purchaser that purchases them. Tickets will not be replaced if lost or stolen.

+ What should I wear?

Cows ‘n Cabs is a country western themed event that is held outside in a park. The park is a grassy surface, so please plan footwear accordingly.
